Speedy Guacamole
Yield: about 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1 fully ripened Mexican avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
- 1/4 cup prepared salsa
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Preparing
In a small bowl, mash avocado with a fork or potato masher to make a slightly chunky mixture. Stir in salsa and lime juice.
Optional Add-ins
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled or 2 tablespoons bacon bits
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
