Flavored Olive Oil Flavored oils are great for stir-fries, salads, or on bread. Use any jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Ingredients - 2 to 4 cups olive oil (depending upon size of jar)
- 3 to 4 whole cloves garlic
- 3 to 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
Preparing Place the oil, garlic, and rosemary in a clean pint or quart jar, pouring oil to within 2 inches of the rim. Allow the oil to stand for at least a few hours and strain before using. The longer you let it stand the stronger the flavor will be. Variations - Fresh Thyme
- Fresh Oregano
- 1 or 2 Jalapeno peppers
